Bob Hoover

I just had a short visit with Bob Hoover here in Charleston. He was delivering the Shrike Commander to the Dulles Airport in Washington D.C. to be put on display in the NASM.
It was kinda sad to see the plane make what will most likely be it's last takeoff before being mounted on it's eternal perch.
As for Mr. Hoover, he is still the perfect gentleman that he has always been.
