The picture is of Brian Reynolds, Me and Bud Granley just after the first test flight in Olympia. I'll just say that it was interesting! None of us had ever flown a C-123 before, but it's amazing what you can do with experienced pilots and unlimited multi-engine LOA's.

I had to get back out to Charleston because of my new house and the Air Force wouldn't let me have any more leave anyhow so I wasn't able to go on the ferry flight as planned.

I hated to see the old girl leave the museum, but it's good to see her go to a good home with people who love her. I am sure the museum will replace her with something before too long.
