Hi John,
By NZ restored Russian thing I guess you mean the Lavochkin La-9. It was at Goodwood that weekend along with the rest of the Breitling Fighters team and returned to Duxford at around 5.00pm that Sunday after the final display in the airshow. It was in formation with the team and did an impressive run and break which I am told got everyones attention. Maybe you left too early to see it?
