You're really seriously into this Hornet idea aren't ya Tony! I think I got my wires crossed in my message, what I meant to say was that unless you are making a highly desirable aircraft (Hornet, MB5 etc) then you will have to make the unit cost quite small, I don't know if Mr Orphan knows any more, but taking the Wanaka Polikarpovs for example, these weren't selling at first, so the price was dropped and they still didn't get any takers (except for Mr moneybags Paul Allen and the aircraft donated to the CAF). So I suppose what I'm trying to say is that at present, unless you are trying to sell a USAF/US navy WWII aircraft (Mustangs selling for ?1 mil at present for example), then I don't think that there'll be many takers. HFL have still got their three spits up for sale and with their asking price I don't think that there will be people breaking down their door to get them, people just aren't splashing the cash at the moment. As for production runs it all boils down to how much initial investment is made in the project (those 262's must have had millions thrown at them and we're only just going to see them fly after what must be at least five years since the TAF started them). Well I'm about done, what do the rest of you think?

Tom.
