P2-V Tanker 99 Lost

Just to report the sad news, Tanker 99, N299MA of Minden Air was lost today near Redlands CA. returning from a fire in AZ. She crashed into mountainous terrain a few miles east of Redlands and was totally destroyed with a loss of both crew members. Ninty Nine was a beautiful bird and flew her first season in 92'. Our condolences to the families of the crew, and those who lost friends today.
