NORTH WEALD AERODROME UNDER THREAT OF HOUSING

sorry if this has been posted on this forum before, if you were not aware the historic Battle of Britain airfield at North Weald may dissapear under a proposed housing project. PLEASE DON`T LET THIS HAPPEN. have your say NOW. we only have until the end of october to make our feelings known. North Weald was a mojor fighter station during the Battle of Britain and was used in many of the scenes in the film `the Battle of Britain`, even today it retains most of the aircraft revetments, hangers and buildings. many flyable historic aircraft are flown from here, please follow the link and go to the campaign site and try to stop these plans before we lose this superb airfield, many thanks---martin
