I recently read about a Bf 109G-2 (?) which was restored for a Brazilian museum by MTU, a jet engine manufacturer in a northwestern suburb of Munich which has its roots in BMW's aero engine department. Maybe they are restoring it, although it surprises me that they are involved in complete aircraft (they have a large collection of historic engines apparently). I believe R. Wagner is based near the French border and Flugwerk is way outside Munich (from my vantage point at least...)
