Yep. If nothing else, it'd be magnificent to see both fired up simultaneously: all that smoke, all that noise... :-)

Amen. Actually, I'm told Walt weighed buying both #74 and #94, but the Thompson Products Museum bought #94 instead--keeping only the engine and prop (which are now at the Crawford iirc). I've also seen comments in print from Walt about the dire condition (at the time--ca.1953) of #57, which was also at Euclid Ave Airport. Walt did buy #74, of course, and also the heavily damaged FG-1A #92 which he reportedly still has at least parts of.

Oh, yes. Sea Fury fanatic though I am, and glad though I was to see "Miss Merced" (one of two still-flyable RCN Furies)...it was one shiny red Corsair that, had it been at Willow Run all by itself, would still have been worth the three-hour drive for me. Two of them? Heavenly!
