I visited/talked with Walt several times in the late 90's. He told me that they did move several planes out to Youngstown, and that there was a museum there for a short period. I can't quite remember for how long. I do know that a B-25 went to Youngstown, but am unsure of the others. I always thought that the B-36 he has would make an fascinating sectioned museum display. It is cut up of course, but can you imagine being able to walk along through the wing.... it is more than six feet thick! The C-82 fuselage is fascinating as well.

Cheers,
Richard

: Thanx for that--sounds like the F-82 may have remained a
: t Newbury until being sold. I was aware of the Wizzard/Arn
: old/UK connection and that the 82 had been owned by both P

: in my mind (Polar then Wizzard then C&P, and to my knowled

: a mental mistake of mine as well as confirming that the 82

: Still wondering what, if anything, ever came of the moot
