Interesting story as this one had not been heard from for a while! A transpac would be fun, but how bout the first one down under? The Aussies should get this one for the circut down there...and go diving on the reefs during the week. This is probably a Korea war SAR veteran, and who knows wether or not she had Vietnam deployment time either. There is a photo of her in the Mutza Albatross book on page 39 when she was in service with the Rhode ISland ANG. Also she is a "tri-phibian" capable of landings on water land and has the large centerline ski equipment for snow operations. Hopefully she makes it somewhere...as in the states thats a 200K-300K aircraft.
