I have a question concerning the cockpit photo. What is the purpose of the small circular lens objects flanking the magnetic compass? No one at the Moses Lake Tanker Base, including those of us with DC-3/C-47 time and ratings can figure it out, although we have some rather weak theories. Can anyone solve the mystery for us?
