I know many of you enjoy a challenge and the thrill of the s/n hunt! In addition I could use some help with identifying some airframes where their true identities have been a mystery to me for a while now. With the magic of webshots and the power of the WIX I was hoping that some true IDs could be conjured up.
The airframes I am trying to ID are the following...
-> the Lockheed Super Connie that once resided outside the Regal Constellation Hotel
-> a Grumman F9F Panther that was spotted at the Valiant Air Command in 1998
-> a Hawker Hunter that appeared at the Wings Over Houston Air Show in 2000
-> a Hughes AH-6 at the Airborne and Speical Ops Museum in North Carolina (a real long shot for this one)
-> one of the Lodestars parked outside the Planes of Fame in Chino
-> A P-80/T-33 stored in pieces at the Grissom Air Park in 1996
-> the F-14 that performed fly-bys at the Wings of Eagle Air Show in 1996
-> a P-80/T-33 fuselage stored outside of the Valiant Air Command Museum in 1998
You can view pictures of these airframes at...

And as always you can find my Webshots public community page at...

Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Mike
