Swastika query

Why is it that I can't buy a 24th scale model kit of "Big Beautiful Doll" with Swastika kill markings in Britain , but there is a Focke Wulf 190 on display in Germany with swastikas on it's tail ? I think the Bf109 has them on as well, but the photo is very dark.
Now as far as I know it is still illegal in Germany to show a swastika in any form, so.......
Why haven't the authorities gone round to see them yet with a pot of paint , and a warrant for their arrest ?
This is the museum at Munich I mean.
