USAF Thunderbird crash this past weekend.

They lost their #6 aircraft at the start of the show in Idaho over the weekend. The pilot ejected in spetacular fashion and was only slightly injured. (It's reported that he stood up and waved to the crowd after touchdown.)
It's speculated that the plane lost engine power after takeoff. The plane maneuvered to show center, lost altitude and the pilot ejected at the last moment before the plane bellied in and exploded. Video of the crash is available on the internet if you look around.
