Jeff Akridge from Columbia Pacific Aviation at Moses Lake,Wa. told me yesterday that the B-23 sold at auction here last year is ready to fly.It has been run several times and he is ready to get together with Butler Aircraft's chief pilot about arrangments concerning check rides and type ratings.I can ask Jeff for info on c/n and registration number if anyone is interested. The KC-97 hulk/restaurant has moved about 50 feet in the past 24 hours. That's more than it has moved in 10 years,so it should be repositioned to its new soon.Air Tankers 05(a P2V-5),62 AND 66(both DC-7's) each flew 6 hours on a fire 90 miles nortwest of Moses Lake a couple of days ago.
