Mr. Schneider said that the serials for all five of these aircraft were known at one time. He didn't have them on hand though. He said of the five hulks that were located at his facility, three came from Jack Arnold, and two others were acquired from someone else. He said it took the bulk of all five hulks in order to produce the two complete Hurricanes.

One of the remains he received was the tail section of a Mk.I that was a Battle of Britain veteran. This is the plane that was restored to static display condition and relocated to Cavenaugh Flight Museum. He mentioned that he would sell it for $490,000 but that he doubted anyone would pay him that much for it. According to him it would still take a complete rebuild to bring it back to flying condition since many non-airworthy parts were used in the restoration.

All of these planes were Canadian military crashes that were recovered from the "bush" at some point and time.
