Cees,
I'm pretty sure this is the Lanc you were involved with recently.
Well in the latest Aeroplane (Oct 2003) there is this in the Information Exchange section that I thought you should be aware of
"Richard Chrysler, 735 Glancaster Road, R.R.1 Mount Hope, Ontario, Canada L0R 1W0, recently saw in the Toronto Sun newspaper that the remains of No.44 Squadron Lancaster DV202 had been found in a murky lake neer Peenemunde. The pilot was Plt Off Reginald Harding, Mr Chrysler's cousin, who was simply reported missing after the raid on Peenemunde on August 17/18, 1942. No remains seem to exist, and the aircraft's engine was determined by an engine number. Further details, including how the aircraft was discovered would be gratefully received."
Hope you can fill in some of the blanks for the family.
Regards,
John
