Der Stern von Afrika - H.J. Marseille movie

I don?t know if anyone has seen or heard of this film before, but its an old German movie from 1957 all about the exploits of Hans Joachim Marseille. Featuring an earlier appearance of the Spanish Air Forces much loved (and filmed)Buchons. Also apparently has some background info in a "making of" section. The North African desert was doubled by Tenerife, due to not being granted permission to take the Buchons out of Spain. Also shows the star of the movie being slightly injured by a ricochet, caused by the machine gun that they were using to "simulate" machine gun fire! Special effects seem to have come on a bit since then it would appear!
I haven?t actually seen it yet, but I have been promised a loan of a copy in the very near future. Can?t wait! Now available on DVD too - but I don?t know if it has an English dub or subtitles. Not that that would matter!
