When I was first there back around 1989, the mostly complete Hurricane was located inside the little gas station shop. This is the example that eventually made it into the museum for display. There were four other derelict center sections stored outside in the grass that were far from being active projects! They were comprised of little more than the tubular cockpit sections of the fuselage with no wings, firewall forward or rear fuselage. I had no clue what they were originally, and had to inquire about them.

I have photos of the aircraft at the location that I took around 1989, and again around 1993 or so. They are stored at another location, but I'll scan and post them next chance I get.
