My message above in retrospect seems dismissive of the story and therefore by association, the memory of these brave men who lost their lives over Holland.
That was not my intention and I apologise if anybody thought that.
Our local paper is curiously parochial and given the fact that there was no south yorkshire connection, it's inclusion in the paper seemed very strange
ps Anybody heard about 3 Lockheed Vega and 1 Lockheed Air Express repros being built in Aus?
