I think Paul's points are good ones, the funimental will to run a/c will overcome any of the above discussed obsicles, and it han't happened at Hendon to date; though it does at the Can Av, RAAF Museum (loaned aircraft do flying displays rather than running RAAFM owned machines) and Brooklands have run their Camel, with its rotary. I think (not a groundshaking view) that the RAFM suffers from too much politics; and that gets in the way of the day job. Let's not forget though, there's been a lot going on, and we'll see some big (mostly*) good changes unveilled later this year.
