And just how could a Mosquito be still perfectly intact after years at the bottom of the sea ?
Even if the wood has somehow survived, it would be thoroughly saturated and would turn to mush as soon as it reached the surface.....plywood and balsa does that !
The metal bits are probably not worth having either.
I think the Lanc is the one that that BBC programme was about recently, can't remember it's serial offhand, but it was the one which tragically crashed on the farmhouse killing the occupants, and the Dutch Military had to recover the remains because of an extension to the harbour or docks(?).
There was a small bit on my local (East Midlands for Paul's benefit !)news the other day.
The family of one of the crew will be going to Holland very soon for the burial of their lost relative.
