Allison is still around, but you won't find it under Detroit Diesel. It was purchased by Rolls-Royce a few years ago and now operates as a Rolls-Royce company. In fact, except for the Model 250 turbine, all current production engines have become Rolls-Royce AE3007, AE1007 and so on.
