I will restate my impressions so I don't sound like I am being critical... The variety of Warbirds was very good, certainly equal with the best shows I have been to, if not the best. Todd did an excellant job as an announcer. The Symposium was, well, "excellant" doesn't do it justice. I like what the Symposium does, as it gives a personal touch history, a face and voice, to the warbirds we view at the show during the day.

However... The arrangement of aircraft on the ramp, although not bad, was also not the best I have seen. I suspect that the available ramp space was too limitted for the aircraft they planned to have in attendance. The taxy way down the middle of the display area did provide for some good photo ops, but aircraft like the the Texans were difficult to view due to their positioning. Perhaps it would be possible to use some of the grass off the end of the ramp, beside the outside display of museum aircraft as more parking space. In my opinion the access to warbirds at the Geneseo air show is as good as it gets, and because of this, the photo ops abound. I also recognize that the Air Display organizers must have a difficult time with not knowing which aircraft will be in attendance, even the day before.
