Had a pretty good day today. The media flight was interesting.... It didn't go as briefed... not sure why. The first flight was three B-17s (Yankee Lady, Memphis Belle and Sentimental Journey), followed by the flight with the Connie, MAAM's B-25 and the CAF Helldiver. Eric Dumigan and myself were zooming along taking photos in T-6s driven by Jim Greeson and Duane Carroll (thanks guys). Chuck Yeager and Bud Anderson took up both of Jack Roush's Mustangs for a little while as we were returning from the media flight. Good stuff! Pretty cool to hear those guys operating on the same frequancy that your using! Not much else in the way of flying today, although Will Ward's arrival in the MiG-17 was pretty spectacular. He was coming in for a pass on arrival as a MICH AFRES F-16 was coming in on a parallel runway at the same time. The F-16 pilot sucked up his gear and both of them went tear-assing down the length of their runways in afterburner! Way-cool! The F-16 won by the way.... Here are the aircraft on the ramp so far (more to arrive tomorrow, hopefully). Colling's B-24
