Tony,
There is no tech school or institution at Ambala. What they have thier is a regular 'Recovery and Salvage' section under a tech officer that supports the flying units (there are two Jaguar and two MiG-21 units there) . This seems to be entirely a local initiative and all the more credit to them.
I hope you are correct and that they will try and find bits to make it more complete in the future.
