Hi All,
Just like to let everyone know while their is no change in the two Corsairs pending the outcome of the Fed. Court case, their has been progress made on the other RN/FAA aircraft in Sebago. It appears that the reported TBM is an TBF-1B this a/c stalled on a bomb run and splash down in rather shallow water. At this time I rather not go into location since I and my two partners are working with the State to locted it. If it the plane we think it is it would make it the third oldest TBF and the only intact RN/FAA TBF. this a/c was with the same Squadron as the Corsairs. and the pilot survived. Also it looks like we might have discovered what the twin engine a/c that is in the Southern Bay. We have narrowed it down to one of the following B-25, SNB, or JRF hope to find out before ice in.
Cheers Rob
