Hi Dennis,
Friday was my last day on the grounds; I'll be viewing Sunday's warbird routine (that says the thunderstorms quiet down long enough) from Medalist Ave. on the east side of 18/36--warbirds actually fly OVER one.
Big Question: Where's Kermit? (Or did he arrive Sat.?)
Big "No-sho" Disappointments: Glacier Girl (of course); the FM-2 for sale by Courtesy (Mark Clark was gracious enough to inform me that the Wildcat had a small mechanical gremlin last week, and by the time they exorcised the gremlin they no longer had a pilot to bring her); Gerry Beck's Allison Mustang project
What made it memorable: Wiping the mud off my shoes & socks after helping push Bill Greenwood's Spit out of "warbird swamp" Friday morning...certainly has been a wet one!
Stay dry,
Dan
