Anybody heard anything more about this???
I'm sure I can well remember comments from a US ex-serviceman in FlyPast many, many, moons ago about such a storage facility on an airfield which (IIRC) was accessed through a manhole on a runway. Seems to something of a common thread there.
Wonder whether they've tried the old ground penetrating radar yet.
Surely such structures if (and its a big if)they do exist must be relatively easy to find..........
