: Jack,

: eum. It's sad to see such a nice plane end up stuffed and
: sitting in a hanger instead of flying.Brooks flew the restored Lysander at airshows for several years, but in 1977 he decided to donate the aircraft to the
National Air & Space Museum. The Museum acquired title to the aircraft but immediately lent it to the U. S. Air Force
Museum in Dayton, Ohio. NASM recalled the artifact in the late 1980s and it is now in storage at the Garber Facility until
display space is available at the new Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center south of Dulles International Airport.
