Aloha Will,
For info on Pearl Harbor and the Japanese aircraft, check out: the Pearl Harbor History Associates, Inc...!http://pearlharbor-history.org/
There was no way in the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association constitution to allow 'associate' membership. Thus several PHSA members and officers, led by the late Jesse Pond, USS Chew, founded the PHHA...note the title is "Associates"... a non-profit organization dedicated to keep the flag raised to "keep the record straight", to halt the spread of historical myths about that day and fight revisionists.
The Pearl Harbor History Associates (PHHA) is a non-profit corporation chartered by the Commonwealth of Virginia on July 2, 1985 for the purposes of "education, research, and promulgation of historical data". Non-profit status has been granted by the IRS under Section 501 (c)(3). All contributions and donations are deductible from Federal Income Tax. Memberships are solicited from all who are interested in history without regard to race, creed, occupation, or age.
The PHHA hosts the largest web site on Pearl Harbor [and -surprisingly- WWII] on the internet...over 5000 pages of documents. To this mass of information we have added a photo site on the attack called "Battleship Row"; a links site; and a technical/tactical history site on USS Arizona. We are linked by a wonderful umbilical cord with Angie's "Remembrance of USS Arizona" web site and the message board she developed, which has grown by leaps and bounds to the largest message board on Pearl Harbor on the internet. http://www.pearlharborattacked.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard4/ikonboard.cgi
Perhaps you might find this information of use.
Sincerely,
David Aiken, a Director: Pearl Harbor History Associates, Inc.
