Dunnville (Ontario) museum

#6SFTS Association museum is now open (weekends) at the school's former base at Dunnville (the old base itself reopened in 1999 as an airport after several decades as a turkey farm!) Nice little museum display in one of the lean-tos on the side of Hangar #1, and several aircraft in one bay of the hangar itself (the other bay is leased by a skydiving outfit). Vintage machines sighted:

DH82C Tiger Moth C-FDGC/7826
NAA Yale C-FGIR/3372 "Spirit of Dunnville"
(ex Mike Lupyniec "Spirit of Camp Borden")
NAA Harvard--composite for eventual static display by the
former base flagstaffs. One wing from C-FMTX incorporated (interesting, as MTX was flying at Geneseo)
Grumman/DHC CS2F Tracker 1562 ex C-FUCV, Phil Nelson/CFB Borden instructional
(The real surprise)--Avro Anson II (I believe...) stripped-out fuselage in a corner for eventual restoration.

The pylon Harvard II 2766 is still in front of the town's library as a memorial to #6SFTS and the BCATP, and as pylon aircraft go it looks a million dollars.
