I've been wondering the same thing Tim. Is this virus, also pulling e-mail addresses from the cache? In effect, if it's reading the cache, and sending mail to e-mail addresses it finds there, then in theory, every group you surf, should also be getting these mails.

Except, i have only had them from Mick,Tony Clark, Chad, and the mysterious Ruben Allen.I am especially unhappy, receiving an e-mail, from an e-mail addy/website that doesn't exist. I had one, in the middle of typing this, from my aircraft contact in Poland, so not good.

While i am not saying Mick is right, I think he may have a point, especially, if these addresses, are not coming from the cache, then someone has backdoored a few computers.

It is especially worrying, when there is sensitive stuff, bouncing backwards and forwards, between myself, Mick and others. Losing a deal is one thing. losing one, because someone has backdoored you, is definately not playing the game. While I don't think that is what is happening, it is a cause for concern.

I'm firewalled all to hell here (Corporate and private) but if this thing opens a door,as Symantec believes it does then it's all for nothing.

So, as i've said before, you are safe, as long as you don't open the mail.

Paul Allen, where are you, when your people need you? :0)
