As I said last week, which everyone ignored !!!!!!!

There might be a wreck of one, and a Buckmaster and/or Buckingham on one of those ex RAF island bases in the Red Sea, between Yemen and Sudan.

There was a story in Flypast long ago which showed types like those dumped while the RAF were still present.
They might still be there, but you would have to run the gauntlet of the pirates that operate against private boats in that region.

Good luck to whoever goes there.....yet another potential swap for a Spitfire with the RAFM !!!!!

The wings of RH746 were still at the Failsworth, Manchester scrapyard just before the fuselage was rescued.....picture in Flypast many years ago....got melted down along with loads of other interesting stuff...
