Hurricane in Michigan

A friend of mine has spoken with a gentleman in St. Joseph, Michigan who claims to have a Mk.I Hurricane airframe in his posession. He would not allow my friend to view or photograph it so a hoax is a distinct possability. Just wondering if anyone else had come across any information regarding said aircraft.
