Hi
I have been facinated by the ongoing story of the Bristol A/C and engined A/C being restored in the US. I think it involves a Bolingbroke (Canadian) a Beaufort (Australian DAP built and thus US engined) a Lysander (Don't know where this came from but I suspect Canada again) and a Swordfish (Canada again).
Does anybody know the full story behind why this is happening in the US ? I think it is great but there will be some challenges there especially with the Beauforts spars.
Surely when they get through this lot in a few generations there will be a very unique collection of types all a long way from home.
Regards
