I think in this sort of case, it's probably best to wait until at least one "news" source has quoted the story , even if it is only the "PNG Pig Farmers gazette". I don't thik the 2 people concerned, would like to be referred to as being involved in previous smuggling attempts
And yes, I agree with John, Aliases, if you won't stand behind your statement, could be construed as mischief, especially if you use them to shoot holes in or rubbish other peoples ideas/dreams
