Preservation of airframes, by and for the iraqi people would be the best option. And, at least they can say it is their property,because it's been fully paid for unlike certain other African Air forces. Anyone want a cheap Jaguar?
The problem is moving them out of the country, for safe keeping until such time as they can be returned. We don't have the manpower or time, and the Americans want the airfields cleared.
I think this one is going to be a case of "What a shame nothing could be done"
