By coincidence I was looking through some old notes yesterday. I see I bought SX336 and SX300 from a scrap dealer in Warrington on 15 July 1973 - 30 year ago almost to the day. Even in those days there was disbelief that you could still make finds like that.
Four owners later and it is scheduled to be flying later this year.
LA546 (not to be confused with LA564). Much of the rear fuselage structure of this project was incorported into the restoration of SX336. I traded the front end and firewall to Craig Charleston who still retains the identity title.
