Let's not forget that a huge amount of that initial cash outlay was used in actaually finding the aircraft, and devising a feasable means of retrieving them. Both problems have been solved and proven, which would cut the costs of retreiving the others greatly. Also consider that the more you recover in one go, the more of a return you will get on your investment. Sure they are deeper now, but by how much? Maybe another 30-50 feet or so? So you have to bore down a little deeper. Considering the first aircraft were found at a depth of about 250 feet, the extra distance present too much of a hurdle. The only problem I see is that if the remaing airframes are as trashed as the first B-17 found, than it may all be for naught. I think it is feasable, with the right people running the show and providing the $$$$. I think one day it will happen...... At least I hope it will! Jim
