Dark Blue World - major let down

thought id do a little write up about it as i was lucky (? )enough to see it yesterday, im afraid this film has decided to go down the route of Pearl Harbour, not the route of Battle of Britain. The flying sequences are great but the inserts from Battle of Britain show at time. Theres even a quick insert from Memphis Belle just for good measure.
Too be honest, if it wasn't for the Spits and the excellent photography, I would have too say this is at times an absolute stinker. It has the same 2 men, one woman plot as Pearl Harbour to continue the comparison, and i never thought i'd say this, Pearl Harbour managed to develop the plot a little more.
The gleaming polished metal B25 camera ship makes a cameo appearance as a British bomber, trying to reach home....and looks rather out of place i must say. Just the start of quite a few inaccuracys. At least it injected some cash into a few warbirds anyway!
has anyone else seen it yet, if so i'd love to know what you thought.
