I heard Potter talking to the Buttonville tower on the radio and I think he tried at least three times to get permission for a pass. It was a real shame but I think the problem came from the organizers not asking for permission is advance. Al, a few other people and myself were lucky to not be insdie the event and were at the end of the runway for the take-off.
