Sunday @ Trenton

Mike,

I was back at Trenton on Sunday. I heard the weather was poor on Saturday so I lucked out this time. I found the ramp sparse compared to past years. I felt they should have moved the aircraft closer together, especially the A-10s and F-16s that were parked on the east side of the large hangar. The flying and photography I found to be excellent. The fence did tick me off at the hot ramp. They should have parked the active aircraft for better viewing. The yellow and blue T-33 belongs to ATESS Aerospace and Telecommunications Engineering Support Squadon at Trenton. I would say they had some spare paint and time. All in all I had a great time but I still pushed home the fact that the airshow hired no Canadian acts like the CWH, CHAA or the GWFM. I can only watch so many aerobatic acts at one show and it was a shame the veterans were not honoured with a flypast of vintage aircraft. They pushed the idea of 100 years of flight but had no aircraft in the flying display representing early flight (GWFM) or the Second World War (CHAA & CWH). These museums need airshow money to keep flying.

I have added two photo pages from Sunday to my site for those that are interested.
