Aircraft is 190D-9/R11 wk.nr.210968 'Black 8' of 2./JG26. Recovered from the Schwerin See on 15.11.90
Apparantly the fuselage was stored for such a length of time post recovery that it rotted away , and the one in the photo is new build ;-0
Supposedly several aircraft in Lk.Schwerin , having a Luftwaffe base on its shores - although it is possible the Russians recovered any in shallow water post war.
