In reply top Cees.. you are very quiet posted by Elliott on Fri Jun 20, 2003 11:25:21 AM

...that can change very quickly.

These past weeks we have been very busy with the recovery and identification of the wreckage of Lancaster DV286 and there is another operation going to happen in september where the wreck of a Stirling will be recovered of which six crewmembers are still missing. I can tell you that there is a lot of activity going on over here some of which I cannot tell you about at the moment but if it works out it will be very exciting. But give it time and I will inform you all.

Things are going very well regarding the cockpit with new information and parts etc. discovered regularly. Also thanks to Ian Foster the exchange of information flows at a steady rate. The postal services are kept busy delivering parcels etc.

Peter Whitfield in Canada has been very helpful with the manufacture of a small batch of Halifax instrument panels one of which is on its way toward me as we speak (thanks for the effort Peter, who despite my sometimes lack of patience finished the job anyway).

I am working on various investigations at the moment one of which is a Halifax I will be investigation tomorrow.

The reason I am so quiet is that I don't want to give my boss a reason to sack me after they tightened the Internet rules at work. But if I have any questions or other information I will post it off course. I check the board five or six time a day.

Any progres on the Whitley? (You expected that question of course)

Cheers

Cees
