NEAM Hispona and other New England News

Hi All,

First I talked with Larry Webster today about the Hispona that was at NEAM. The plane was their from 1978 till 1982. Dave the plane went on display just after the big wind hit the Museum. It was in one of the two hangers that were;nt damaged. The aircraft went back to its owner someone in Texas. Now here is the tricky part. according to WW directory 3 The Air Zoo's Hispona crashed at Oxford Conn. now when the NEAM plane came to them it was said to have been in a crash. Larry and I think that these are the same plane he is going to look for some photos that he took of it while it was at NEAM. Also this aircraft might have been conected with Lee Taner who at the same time own a Spit MkXXII.

Also Larry told me that the Corsair that they were going to be getting from the Navy has been cancled it seems that someone down at the USMAM want to have both planes as part of the new building. Also the Sara does'nt want the AV-8 that is on display with QAM so it looks like they just pick up another plane.

I should have some more news on both NEAM and QAM after next weeks airshow.

Cheers Rob
