The odd-looking aircraft is a Soviet Wing-in-ground effect airplane; I was tested in the Black Sea
for a while as well as in other areas; it was retired and the pictures are likely coming from one of the
museums around Moscow. I don't recall the Soviet name for this aircraft, but if I remember
correctly, there have been news recently about re-starting the research on these kind of aircraft.

There is even a plastic scale model for this particular aircraft, called (I remembered) the Ekranoplane.
