Hi Dave,

There are a million and one things to do in London, but if you are into warbirds then there are a couple of museums to visit.

Firstly (and obviously!) there is the RAF Museum at Hendon, a couple of stops before the end of the Edgware branch of the Northern line (get off at Colindale). Features just about everything the RAF has ever flown and the world's
best collection of German aircraft.

Secondly, the Imperial War Museum at Lambeth is also well worth a visit (get off at Lambeth North on the Bakerloo line, just one or two stops south of Waterloo). Warbirds include Spitfire mk1, FW190, P51, He162 plus Lancaster, Halifax and Zero cockpits and a couple of WW1 types - Camel and Be2 i think.

Duxford is easy enough to get to from London, although for Legends i suggest an early start! Take a train to Cambridge from Liverpool Street Station (on Central, Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines). Should take about 45mins to 1 hour. At Cambridge station a shuttle bus from right outside will take you to Duxford. If you are driving, then take the M11 north and get off at Junction 10 - you can't possibly miss it!

Hope this is of use to you and enjoy your trip.
Stuart
