...I think it's a shame what's happening here. An aircraft type that has been in service for so long without any accident is dismissed by the policitians after one crash after almost thirty years and millions and millions of safe miles, and one that's not the fault of the aircraft but because of a piece of metal on the runway.
IMHO this aircraft was slaughtered by the press and the politicians. Now they claim that it isn't economical anymore!!!
Those responsible for this should be very very ashamed.
If a 737 or any other type for that matter crashes nobody starts asking questions. This just makes me sick.
