FJ-3 Fury no visible markings; definitely a Fury; tail hook and all. Canopy is painted black; overall aluminum, no numbers visible at all.
All these three aircraft are located alongside the Northern end of the runway, next to the perimeter fence. Look OK, but could be better, indoors or under cover.
No other military aircraft were in evidence, I attempted to find entrance to the hangars, but there is construction ongoing and the gates were locked. No evidence of any Phantoms or other military aircraft. The A-7A is parked closer to the terminal, in front of the hangars, East side of the airport.
Also present, but unable to identify due to distance, a Canadair CL-144 or 244, as well as a Bell 212, both in fire-fighter yellow and red color scheme.
Tomorrow, weather permitting, Charlotte.
Saludos,
Tulio
